The Family Education Program The Family Education Program consists of a Core Curriculum comprised of three "Nuts 'N Bolts" programs and supplemental programs designed to assist family members in preparing themselves for serving as "helpers" in implementing the Client's estate plan (if applicable) as well as for receiving their inheritance as beneficiaries of the Client's estate plan. There is no charge for our workshops, but reservations are required. Overview (Nuts 'N Bolts I) These meetings cover trust settlements, estate taxation, and income taxation of trusts. Successor Trustee Training (Nuts 'N Bolts II) These Meetings cover how the Client's "helpers" will be called on to serve following a Trustmaker's death or disability, and will also explain how helper/beneficiaries benefit from the Client's proactive estate planning. Nuts 'N Bolts II (Trustee Training) This workshop will not be held in 2010.
